  29.   The oil cap is generally mounted on top of the valve cover. Use your paper
  30. towel and open the cap if you need to add oil to the engine. If you are sure
  31. of what weight oil you have been using in the engine, add about one  half of 
  32. a quart at a time and check the level in a few minutes.  While it's  danger-
  33. ous to run the engine with the level  below the  low mark,  it's not  such a 
  34. good idea to add too much oil above the full mark.  When  overfull, the  oil  
  35. tends to foam and lubrication values are lowered.  Once  the oil is  back at 
  36. its normal level, you have full lubrication benefits again.

  39.   When you replace the  oil  cap,
  40. make sure the arrows on  the  cap
  41. and the valve cover are lined  up
  42. so you don't lose the cap or have
  43. oil spray all over the engine!
